Depends on what tribe you wish to know about, understand that culture is very much tied into it, and understand there are things that are to be respected and some are not to be known by those outside of it.
Stay away from fakes, New Agers, books supposedly about it, anyone doing any ceremonies that did not grow up in the culture it came from, and anyone doing anything of it for profit and selling off the culture. Unless you don't want your interest to be respectful and legitimate.

the only way to really learn this is not from schools or books. you must go to the tribal reservations and learn the REAL spirituality from them.

It's not truely documented with accuracy, you could go ask, but many find this offensive, and often shun their own who give out secrets. My friend is now not considered real* cherokee, despite his bloodline, I could best describe it as general shamanistic, pretty interesting.
