Im old fashioned ,still like a cup of tea, especially when I get to the kitchen first thing in the morning but if I.m on a fast before a blood test, I literally am gasping by the time I get back from the surgery, there is nothing so pleasant as the first cup to start the day off and follow with toast. Brazil can keep their coffee

Tea is for pleasure. Coffee mainly for necessity. Except on the continent, where their Lipton teas are disgusting but the coffee is out of this world.
Being English, I feel very strongly about this!

According to the British Coffee Assocoation up to 4 cups a day are good for and they count towards your dayly intake of fluids. Same applies to tea. They also have actioxidants, plus a few other healthy bits. A bit of useless information for you.

There is nothing better than a nice cuppa tea. I find it really relaxing, comforting after something bad has happened and quite refreshing too. My nana used to made a mean cuppa tea. I drink coffee too, strangely I prefer instant over freshly ground!

Tea every time.
Apparently tea contains anti-oxidants that are good for your vascular system and can help prevent Heart disease. Recent research many have also found some proof that tea may have some properties that help with cancer prevention, but this is unproven.
