Of Course, but conservatives believe that their are a fixed number of what they call terrorist in the Middle East, and all they have to do is kill the existing Terrorists to win. I have a problem with that logic and I don't think the conservatives are stupid, so what is actually going on in the conservative heart and mind?
One truly possible but sick reason is the that they think that war is good for business, and good business is good for America according to Republicans.
Accually, according to classic conservatism, what is good for business is good for America? I have not heard any conservatives suggest that there is any amendment or restriction to that principle. Have you?
In fact, I was really surprised that Bush was going to change the Military Hand Book to make it ok to torture prisoners of war.
We tried it with Dick Nixon and forced him out of office, but look who we have now as a President.

Unfortunately, there will never be peace in the Middle East. Too many cultures/religions that cannot coexist live too close to each other.

there cant be no peace in the middle east, there has been conflict there for thousands of years.the Sunnies & Shiites hate each other they would be at war with each other.
