When I was 8 I was walking back from the Foresquare Church across from my parents and the thought struck me, there has to a continuance of life why would we be put here. Then I thought that to have parents and never see them again after death didn't make sense and the Bible is right, there has to be God and eternal life. Since then I've become familiar with other beliefs but none make as complete sense as does the Bible.

I did ... I was supposed to be dead by the time I was 2 and my parents are devout people so I was raised in a Godly home ... and I was raised to thank God everyday for my existence because I was not supposed to be around (based on earthly predictions from the best doctors in the USA, middle east, europe, Japan and brazil ... my dad even almost snuck me into Cuba to see doctors there, but he changed his mind).
I can honestly tell u that I miss those days like crazy ... I find myself struggling to keep my faith... i miss that strong belief I had ... I miss that when I was around 4-5 years old, I had faith that couldn't be shaken by anything .. whereas now I am swayed easily. I'd give anything to be back there!

I had a very strong sense that God existed, and today I have a strong sense that God exists.

But I believed a lot of things that were wrong then. I have had many many experiences since then, and I learned many things, and one of those things was that I was right about God.

I knew, and I am not a fan of organized religion but I am secure in my personal relationship with God; therefore I am sure of his existence. I have known as long as I can remember.

I knew, and still know. Sitting out behind our chiken house gazing up at the towering trees, the mountains, the river, smelling the flowers in the breeze, I could feel His presence and love talking to Him. Most importantly I knew when He answered me.

I was raised going to church and I understood from a very early age that God loved me and that I should always try to be a good little girl. It was never anything my parents forced on me, they just helped it by praying with me and reading the Bible to me.

In my case the opposite was true. When I was a child, I was told of all the nasty things that would happen if I didn't believe in God along with all of the other brainwashing techniques that can be successful on little children.

Then I grew up.

I always knew there was a God. I knew it deep inside, always have. I met Jesus, as my Lord and Savior, in my late teens. I am in my 30's now.
