There was this girl that sat with my group of friends every day at lunch, and we became firends. I really like her and finally got hte courage to ask her out and she said yes. but then she avoided me for the rest of the day. After school three of her friends came to me and said she didnt want to tell me in person so they told me that her parents wouldnt let her date yet. She has avoided me for about three weeks now and every time i try to talk to her she says oh i have to go even though i see her ten minutes later doing nothing. What should I do?

If she was too imature to tell you at the time you asked her then she is not worth your time.Depending on your age like if your 15-17 you could try going and asking her parents permission to take their daugther out on a date.

Sit her down and talk to her. If it's bothering you this much then to 'give her time' would only be hurting you as well. Tell her it's extremely important. If she can't date you or she doesn't like you or what not, then oh well. But hearing it from her will set your heart at ease and maybe she'll quit avoiding you.

poor girl. If you really like her, just be friends with her until you earn her parents trust.

Tell her or tell her friends to tell her that you'll just be friends and when her parents let her date you'll be there.
