I enjoy alternative Christian music, such as Jars of Clay, Sanctus Real, Hyperstatic Union, Tree 63, and The Afters.
One of my all-time favorite songs is "Thief", by Third Day. It's from their self-titled first album. The first time I heard that song, I didn't anticipate the power of the lyrics or of lead singer's Mac Powell's interpretation. It made me cry like a baby. (I was alone at the time, thank God.)
I listen to one of the best Christian radio stations in the world, KLIFE from San Luis Obispo, Calif. It has a dynamic ministry thoughout a good three-county chunk of the central California coast. You can listen online at klife.org.
By the way, I disagree that a belief in the Almighty nullifies taste in music, since I also enjoy music by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Telemann, Dvorak, Verdi, Rossini, Mahler, Vaughan Williams, Ellington, Rodgers, Gershwin, Arlen, Berlin, Haggard, Pink Floyd, and X, among many others.

I love Sufjan Stevens. He's not a Christian music artist per se, but his beliefs come across in his music. And it's really good.

It's all awful. Does a belief in G** nullify taste in music? It seems that way to me.
