I've never seen anyone say that this section is just for Christians. Has someone actually said that? As for the going-to-H*ll part, that's in the Bible.

When Judaism was amongst Pagans, they were monotheistic and they felt the need to distinguish themselves from everyone else. They were tolerated though, because the ancient Romans saw religion as something ancient. When Christianity came about, they not only felt the need to distinguish themselves from the Pagans, but also the Jews. Along with this developed the theology that those who weren't elected by their god for salvation would not go to heaven. However, in the last few hundred years this theology has changed into the idea that all Christians go to heaven and everyone else goes to hell. This isn't originally in Judaism and it wasn't like that in Christianity until recently.
A lot of Christians will believe that anyone who does not worship "their" god is instead worshiping Satan. I don't know how they draw that conclusion, but it of course makes them believe that those worshiping Satan will then go to the Christian hell. They don't even realize that outside of the Abrahamic faiths that Satan doesn't exist. This logic makes as much sense as if I were to say, "All Christian worship leprechauns," especially since I am sure that most Christians don't believe that leprechauns exist.

Maybe because many of the people who use Yahoo answers have Christian beliefs.
Other religions have posted in this section as ell as wiccans, satanists, animists, agnostics and atheists

I dunno. Maybe its because Yahoo in an American company so the majority of people on here are Americans and a HUGE percent of Americans are Christian.
Also, I think they believe in that non-Christians will go to hell because it is what they are told at a ypung age, and that idea is always embedded into their mind.
