I'm an athiest. i do not believe in god. Here are a list of things that you may say i shouldn't believe according to my own logic.

Love - love is a feeling. that's like saying, do you believe in happiness? Yes, i've been happy.

Wind/air - although i can't see the air, i know it's there because i can feel it on my skin when i wave my arm aroound, and i can move it by waving a piece of paper

Gravity - i can't see gravity, but i can see the effects of it when i drop my pencil.

Space - You can't see, or feel the the vacuum of space, but i know it exists because i can see stars, and planets, and sattelites in it.

God - I can't see god. I can't feel god. God isn't an emotion. I can't taste god. There are no photos of god. I can't see the effects of god (praying is useless). That's why i do not believ in god.

Love is not necessarily happiness, True Love anyway.

Happiness is define as what? Charles Daumer, and Manson I could argue they thought they were happy, but really is that happiness? Drug addicts, criminals, and the insane may claim happiness, but is it truly happiness?

Nothingness is hard to prove, even your definition of space relies on objects to determine its attributes. Atheist rarely delve into the debate over proof of nothingness. To prove nothingness would begin to set an argument against the reality of God.

Wind, gravity etc are natural elements that can be measured through scientific method. Easy and non-conclusive.

What is All goodness? Pleasantry, usefulness, or virtue.

God is the first action, the first cause of all actions beginning in the universe. God is the first movement seen within the universal history of creation and this very moment and all moments to follow. God is Love. God is Happiness. God is the True Goodness in all the universe. God "Is".

I know God is as He states, "I Am".

Well most believers in God, like myself, believe in God because we CAN feel Him, see His effects, see what He's created, and hear Him too. Now if we believed without any of these things we would just be silly I agree. But you forgot that it's also like someone saying headaches dont exist because THEY have never had one. Billions of people have so they would be really silly to think there really is no such thing. (Mind you, headaches cant be proven nor disproven scientifically either) Billions of people have experienced God enough to convince them that He is there.

Correct. Unlike air, atoms, gravity, or a vaccum, you cannot test for the existence of God. There are no effects to see and measure, no side effects to examine, no data to capture. God behaves exactly like something that isn't there at all.

I think you just answered your own question. You can't see, feel, taste or feel God as an emotion - therefore you don't believe. Thats why christians feel the way they do about athiests.

It is pointless to try to debate with people the majority of whom think that vulgar abuse is an answer to an argument. The Christian creed seems to be, for the majority - when you cannot discuss something rationally then use abuse or resort to name calling. This immature type of conduct shows that most of them are incapable of rational discourse and they do not have the mental capacity for analysis or reasoned justification. So I wouldn't bother with them. They believe whatever they want to believe and anything which doesn't fit with their beliefs, including the bible, is ignored.

I am an atheist as well. But something like religion is so deeply buried in someone's mind, that even if you gave them INDISPUTIBLE evidence that god does not exist, they would still belive. Just like we have misconceptions about them, they have some about us. It's just to spread bad air around to make the other side look bad. Some atheists veiw them as "god freaks" and they view us as "sinners and infidels". Have you seen their pamphlets against Darwinism?

They really don't know what Atheism is, and they are pretty much ignorant of any religious study. Most don't even know about the history of their own religion, so why would you expect them to learn about others or lack thereof?

Because they strongly believe in god

I don't even so much base my disbelief on not being able to see it, but more like just what my instinct tells me. My instinct, or gut feeling of things, is pretty good, and it tells me it just 'ain't' there.

Because most so-called Christians are so caught up in their own beliefs that they are too close-minded to think of anything else.
