never ending executions even for minor offences
murder of apostates
undemocratic
no freedom of speach
opperssin of women
abuse of non muslims in islamic countries
no freedom to challenge islam

where do we find human rights in islam?

Islam is called complete code of life.. it means.. it has also covered all aspects of human rights . Beheading for what.... murder.. for god sake don't say that a murderer shouldn't be killed... (remember all murderers are not to be killed). Freedom of speech is there.. but with some limits.. Muslims are not allowed to abuse others religions.. don't u think its justified. Amputation of hand....not for every thief.. if all the basic necessities are provided to the individual by the state and he is still a thieve.. then of course he should be penalized.. just think if u implement it.. u loose ur valuable at one place and u can find them after many days on the same spot. No body will dare to touch that. Similarly all the teachings of Islam r justified. YES, ONE MORE THING...Islam is the only religion which asks its followers to do research about all the teachings..there is no bar to study other religions...Can some other religion dare to do that ??

Well, Christianity for one is nearly as incompatible with human rights in its own way as is Islam. However, in Western society, most of the parts of Christianity that are this way have been forgotten, explained away as metaphor, or simply ignored, in an effort to make it more compatible with our way of life. In other words, it's become diluted by our secular beliefs and ideas about how a society should be run and organized in order to be most efficent and progressive. However, this doesn't seem to be happening to the same degree in Islam, or at least in the countries or societies that we typically think of as Islamic. This is of course a major problem these days, and the reason behind the 'clash of civilizations' argument we keep hearing about.

Thankfully, here in the West, we can see the damage that a fundamentalist, dogmatic reading and application of our religions can cause, and we have, to a great degree, decided to attempt to keep religion in its place by favoring a more secular, liberal, and humanistic approach to organizing society. And good for us I say. Hopefully we can keep it that way.

If you read our history though we had the Bible England decapitated people and put their heads on London bridge, we draw and quartered people, we broke every bone in their body while alive on the rack, we did terrible tortures during the inquisition in supposedly the name of God. I see that region of the world as coming out of the dark ages. As to the Quran a good translation of the Quran will show you these things are not exactly in agreement with the Quran.
I am Unitarian which will get plenty of attacks by those who claim we are not Christians. We believe that our God is the God of all religions and shows himself in many forms to other religions that he has been found to have at least 114 different names in the world and we say we start with A for Allah and then eventually get to G for God. We are taught religious tolerance whereas I see it those who attack our beliefs have not learned it yet.

I love this topic. Whoever you people are that say that Christianity is "just as bad" or any of that, seriously need to take another look around. Every conflict on this planet is related to Islam.

The funniest part I think is when you mix politics with the war on terror. Liberals want us out of Iraq and say that the terrorists are just misunderstood. Don't the gays and the feminists know that Islamists would just as soon kill them as look at them?

Until I see a huge rally in the streets against the "extremist" Mulsims, being held by other Muslims I won't buy this "religion of peace" garbage.

If any of you are from Pittsburgh you may have recalled Quinn and Rose on 104.7 telling the story of a white christian walking through a camp path in the woods, he was approached by 3 Muslims who asked if he'd talk to them about religion, he refused, and tried to walk away and they beat him within an inch of his life.

The main difference being that when Christians kill in the name of Christianity the U.S. and Christians come out against it as a whole. Yet, the day the World Trade Center was hit, Muslim literally cheered in the street.

Islam is a lie as far as I'm concerned. In fact, the Quoran (according to michael savage) tells Muslims to decieve the infidels to break into our ranks before they kill us. Their act is literally from biblical times, yet we fall for it?

Has anyone taken a look at Jordan about 2 months ago when the court tried to convict to death a guy for converting to Christianity. Answer me that one? That's a true testament to the "religion of peace."

what ever u r saying the beheadings n execution etc it imposed on the person who is guilty of henious crimes like murder ,theft,rape etc ....not on the innocent people and its is upto the guardians of the victim to forgive the guilty person.
As far the rules for women like veiling or parda so its very much secure for us , ask any muslim woman who practice parda about the dignity of modesty n chastity.
