If you can find it, try a calendula tincture. (Look for a herbalist or a good alternative health (food) store. Calendula is good for helping sores heal. A tincture is about the only effective way of treating a mouth sore, just put a couple of drops on it.
The constant moisture slows down healing -- you know how a cut on your hand or such heals very slowly if you keep it bandaged all the time? It's the same thing. You can't air out your mouth, so look for other ways to speed up the healing. There are a number of herbs that can help.
The cheek hurting could be a sign of infection -- is there inflammation? But it could also just be tender skin being pushed up against the hardness of your teeth. It's impossible to know from the little bit of information you gave.
My only big concern is if the tearing was explainable by your actions or if there's something going on with the skin that it tore easily.

Check the inside of your mouth for coloring and to check for any signs of puss or discharge. Wounds in your mouth can take longer to heal than regular cuts because of your saliva, which is acidic. On the upside, you're saliva also helps kill a lot of infection causing bacteria. Try not to eat on that side of your mouth so as not to cause any added irration, or get food in the cut. If it's red or you feel like heat is radiating from it, that's just a sign that it's healing. If it's not better in a week, call up your doctor.
Feel better!

It must have been a bad cut to take that long to heal. Keep an eye on it. It might be taking longer because maybe you cut in too deep into the tissue. If after a week it doesn't get better, then go see a doctor.

Personally, I would use Listerine for a couple days (twice per day) and see if that helps. It has a strong alcohol content so would cleanse that cut and reduce infectious possibility in your mouth in general. If that doesn't help, then see a dentist. Many people come to the ER where I work only for us to refer them to their local dentist, so don't do that, you'll waste money on the ER visit. Just go to a dentist if you need to.
Ciao!

The best way to get rid of ulcers is to leave it alone, using medication could possibly take longer.
For canker sores:
Rinse with salt water.
Apply a thin paste of baking soda and water.
Mix 1 part hydrogen peroxide with 1 part water and apply this mixture to the lesions using a cotton swab.

Probably - the mouth is full of bacteria so I would not be surprised in the least if it was infected. I would head to the doctor for their opinion and antibiotics to be on the safe side.

Did you brush with a chain saw? But seriously, if it doesn't heal, see a doc to rule out cancer, viruses, etc
