I'm 15, 5'6, 170 pounds and I do intense cardio and strength training everyday, and confused to how much protein I should be taking. I've seen people say 1.5-2.0gs per lb, but then I've seen somebody say teens should be taking more for muscle growth. So I was thinking of taking 2.0g/lb?

you need about 27 grams of protein 3 times a day minimum. One ounce of protein equals 7 grams.. so you need about 4 oz at every meal..
Eat egg whites, soft cheeses, chicken, pork, beef, liver, bacon, ham.. try not to eat too many sandwich meats as they quite often have gluten mixed in which raises the carb count and can be high in triglicerides and nitrates. Eat your protein about an hour after your work out.

at 5'6" and 170, you need to be focusing on cardio and not worrying about building muscle mass and strength. At 15, you could be stunting your growth that way, get your body in shape doing some real cardio, get your cardiovascular system primed, and then in a couple years adding muscle will be EASY.

go by your weight, to build muscle, you need to have as much protein in grams, as you weight. so your weight is 170, you need 170 grams of protein a day. the whey protein shakes have 35 grams per serving, and meats and peanuts are pretty high in proteins. you shouldn`t have any trouble getting that much a day, but keep up with your weight, it might change.
