Maybe they use answers to learn about their customers. Think about it...Those of us who have nothing to do are on here asking questions, answering questions, telling jokes, and just talking...for free! It would be a great way to get into our heads and see what we are looking for in a web site. This way they can change Yahoo to meet our needs. The more people who use yahoo, the more money for them. They are tricking us into giving them our money, without us ever knowing it, we actually enjoy it! Pretty slick if you ask me!

They get to sell our souls to the Church of scientology for 27 cents each, they can then invest that money into spaceships and conduct intergalactic warfare with species unknown. Then if they are really lucky they will be able to start a franchise like KFC selling human burgers to aliens for $3.95 made from the people that use google.com

So here we are on Yahoo, all of us, and so naturally we see the ads when using yahoo products, so all the pages with adds are getting hits and so yahoo can charge more.
