I'm hoping not, because it's actually a pretty fattening sub due to all the regular mayonaise. but the mayonaise dries up when you toast it. will this cause the calories to drop?

Yeah, I'm on a quest to gain 300 pounds eating subway subs. I am the Anti-Jared! lol

It just loses water with toasting, not calories. If you really want to get so fat they have to demolish a wall to get you to your multiple doctors appointments, please drop your health insurance and buy life insurance instead, so my health premiums don't go up.

For 1 slice of bread vs. 1 slice of toast the calories are the same. This is partially due to the high level of carbohydrates found in bread (harder bonds to break) but primarily the calorie count stays the same because of the superficial nature of toasting. If you were to cook the toast to an inedible state the calorie count should change. When comparing raw steak to cooked steak the calorie count decreases because of the extent to which heat applied. In all cases be sure that the raw and cooked items are comparable (same ingredients, trim, grade, cooking method, etc.) and that the cooking method does not introduce calories to the food as with frying.

It would actually lower the calories.
By burning food it actually releases energy just like wood can be lit and burnt to produce heat.
Obviously you're not burning your sandwich but the heating process would make a slight calorie adjustment.
