He is from northern Africa. Morocco I think. Speaks me scripturs from the book of Qur'an, in both english and islam. His mother and father I know little about. He is taking care of them because they are older, and can not work. The only thing I know for certain, is his parents told him it was difficult to find a muslim where we lived, and it would be ok to date. No he is not the older style of Muslim. He does fast for ramadan. He definatly does Salat, I have been hung up on the phone because he needed to pray. I consider the religion because of some of the faults that christianity has.

Do not be deceived or consider man can please God by his work and his righteousness. Man cannot save himself because his sin is mixed in him so strong and no matter how he tries to become good, he stands helpless. We are saved because of God's grace and of His work that he accomplished on the cross, we are saved because of his pure blood shed for mankind by our lord and savior Jesus Christ, Glory to His name. You will not believe nor accept this, but I am telling you that this is the way, and the truth. No man can save himself by his filthy work. This applies on all human being conclusively.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5).

Yes Christianity Has its faults as it is a mix of different religious practices that it adopted to try and bring more people into its fold. The biggest fault is Hypocrisy.
Even in the Muslim religion you will find ideas that are similar to Wiccian beliefs. But since Muslim is a Patriarchal religion all the names of ALLAH and helpers will be male just like Christian models there fore you would be considered inferior to males. This may pose a problem if you are a Wiccan that uses either ALL Female names or a mix of female and male names each in its own season and time.
Have a talk with your friend about you being able to keep your Wiccian religion and still go to the Muslim services with him . Also talk to his and your parents about any possible mixed religious marriage.you practicing yours and him practicing his and the two of you teaching each other about your religious beliefs.
Hope you can find a middle ground if there is more than just freindship between you.
Blessed be

I am not sure what you mean. Wicca is mentioned nowhere except your initial question. Most Muslims do not view wicca favorably as they are monotheistic in a strict sense. are you trying to decide how you feel about Islam? My man, who is Muslim is okay with the fact that i have practiced wicca and am now "spiritual but not religious." I think this is probably not common.

I am glad you've made a friend in Islam. Especially if you were studying wicca prior. I was raised as a Catholic, and befriended a few muslims, and was very impressed with their duty to Allah, and family. My buddy was from Tunisia, and sent almost his entire paycheck back to his mother whom needed medicine to live. He lived almost in poverty, so he could look after his mother, and family back home. Keep studying, and sharing your knowledge with others. Some people don't like to learn, so don't let them dishearten you on your path.

You know some Wiccans, Christians, Muslims and on and on give others of their faith a bad name by their actions such as Muslim terrorists. I have seen Christian terrorists as well. As with any religion there are good and bad. If your friend is not a terrorist to other religions, all is good. All religions no matter what all believe in a higher power. Pick one that resonates with you and non violent, and all is good.

Look lady, I think I'll stay Wiccan. Muslims seem to think that every other religion is an abomination and I don't think that I want to f*** with that. Save it for someone that cares.
