They are are spreading, encouraging, promoting God's word. God is pleased with that, and why shouldn't they make money doing it? They have talent and most of them are great witnesses.
Lighten up!
They are not selling goods at the church and violating the temple - they are getting the message out where many can hear it that would not otherwise. Rick Warren said there is no Christian music just Christian lyrics, and I agree.
And they should be able to make a living at it - I am glad that there are those with talent that do so.

They are spreading the gospel, and doing it outside of the house of worship. If they aren't to be allowed to earn a living at it, part of God's voice will be stilled. Would you have the gospel reach fewer people just because the recording industry is making a profit from Christian music? Seems like tossing the baby out with the bathwater.

Everyone's using God to make money...before one concludes too soon what the people's intentions are, think about where the money goes to. If the money earned by Christian singers is used to further spread the Good News of God or to help the less fortunate, then it's fine. But if the Christian singers are selling their music for mere personal gain, then it's really sad.

I think they have a right to make a living. I mean God gave me the training and talent to be an Interior Designer does that mean i cannot receive a salary for my work. What about a Christian who is a Train engineer Who worked his way up the ladder by God's grace. Should he give up His salary?

Musicians had to study their craft and practice practice practice. They had to give up the time that they could do other work, and in many cases time with their families etc.

I don't think it's the same as selling things in church. If it's a means to bring someone closer to God, then good deal! Would you say not to sell bibles because someone is making money? Probably not. I listen and worship with Christian music every single day and it really helps me to be closer to God!

As long as they tithe at least ten percent of their earnings then I don't see anything wrong with them making money by sharing God's word. Are you really concerned about this issue or are you just looking for a reason not to believe in Jesus? You may want to ask yourself that question. Their music helps fight spiritual warfare and it makes my day, everyday.

People are trying to get the message of the Gospel across to you. Creative energy is a positive force which Christian artists use for doing God's purposes.

Making music is these people's jobs. They have a right to be paid for work performed.
