High in sugar. You need more water to dilute the sugar.

I'm not sure. I've never been thirsty after eating ice cream. Maybe the people that said something about the water inside us gets attracted to the sugar so we need more water in our system or something like that. That makes sense.

Ice cream has sugar in it. Sugar & salt always makes you thirsty, becasue the water in your body will always follow the highest concentration of sugar &/or salt. Therefore, if you have little to no sugar already in your cells, and you have just ingested some, the water leaves your cells to be with the sugar where it will either return to your cells, or be expelled as waste. This is why they leave nuts/salty snacks for free at the bars - you eat them, they make you thirsty, and you order a drink.

I think it's because your tongue is really cold and needs something to warm it up. At least that's why I use it.
