If your spouse was bed ridden with terminal cancer for weeks and in constant agonizing pain and no drug alleviated the pain would you consider helping them to die? What if your spouse beggged you over and over to kill them. Would you help them die or would you watch them suffer on and on?

I would help her to die instead of see her suffering, even though I would miss her so much I would ... I rather remember her as she was before than remember all the pain she passed through.

Hard to say until it happens. I would say no, as of now. No, bcuz of my faith. It is not my duty to decide the faith of another human soul. It wold pain me to see her suffer and I would probably want the same, but I so not posses that authority. It does often make me wonder why we can put a pet out of its misery, but allow the suffering of an individual that has lost their dignity and simply want to move one. However, I think, when it's your time, you often have to come to terms with yourself before you can truly let yourself go. I hope I never have to go through that.

I would do all I could to comfort her and make her as comfortable as possible, but I do not beleive I could end her life unless it was so excruciatingly painful that I would be willing to terminate my own life at the same time to spare her the pain. I would not terminate her life and live on without her. I already lost one wife to cancer, so I know of what I speak.

I'd expect them to do the same for me, so yeah... But I would hate myself forever and probly die of a broken heart a few months after, then probly burn in hell or come back as a damn human again (which I think is the worst thing to come back as)

I think i would. Seeing them suffer would kill me and if they asked i could see no reason why not to put them out of their misery.

no i could never do that. I couldnt kill anyone...well maybe someone but not someone i loved dearly like that.
Btw...the person who said about the prison thing and Dr. Kavorikan..that was the funniest thing i have ever heard!!

something like this makes u stuck in the middle, dont know to keep her living, or pull the plug. both haves negative and positive sides to it.

Yes I would help her to die. I could not bear to see her suffer day after day. I would not permit the torture of someone I love.
