Damn it all to hell, why can't there be a few more places that serve char grilled oysters????
I know that they are sooo great at Drago's and all, but everywhere else so far is just mediocre. Acme, Felix's, French Market Restaurant. I plan to try them at Alexander's and also at Saltwater Grill. Right now, this is my favorite but my second most favorite is Oysters En Brochette. Once you have had these at Christians you will know what I mean. The Bourbon House also makes them very well, but I think they took it off the menu.
Last but not least, I also encourage everyone here to come to New Orleans. See for yourself that it is still one of the greatest places to visit in the country.

Oh god, where to begin! The ettouffe, gumbo (doesn't matter to me which kind) Jumbalaya, red beans & rice, dirty rice, po boys (all kinds), Boudin (both red and white)......spent alot of time down there each year and gained about 20 lbs each time! lol...seriously though, (in my opinion) Cajun food is by far the best food cooked in this country. If you are planning on visiting there, be sure to hit Three Sisters....fantastic food! Be sure to ask around for the place that serves begnets & espresso and go there for breakfast too!

Hello PlanetNewOrleans.com,
I know that it's French, but I love Et Tufe (sorry about the terrible spelling). I really miss New Orleans. I will go back there again some time. Take care of yourself.

I love anything from the Lousiana Pizza Kitchen and adore the jambalaya from the House of Blues. Can't omit the Cafe Du Monde and its beignets. I absolutely love the cornbread from the House of Blues. I love the red beans and sausage from the cafe Gumbolaya. We plan on fetting our tummies full in December when we visit.
