I can understand how the big jugs could be filled but the cartons are really tiny.

ok, cows do not pee milk, the milk comes from their udders. they are similiar to your nipples, but they have several and they are all in one area. they are hooked to a machine which milks them..that means it extracts the milk from them, takes it into large vats and then sent to a dairy for processing. once at the dairy it is homogonized and packaged into the cartons and jugs that you buy from the stores. .

Oh wow - there is so much wrong with your question!

First: Cows do not pee milk! They pee pee! Milk comes from their mammory glands, which is called the udder on the cow.

Second: Cows are hooked up to milking machines - attached to the udder, which milks the cow, and moves the milk in pipes. From there, milk is pasturized, packaged and sent to the store. The packaging, pasturization etc all happens in a plant. A machine fills the cartons with milk and a machine seals the carton closed.

The milk is not peed out, it is squeezed out from the cows' udders. I imagine the milk is expressed into buckets or some kind of machine. It's definitely not immediately put into the jugs and cartons that go to the stores. The milk is first gone through some processing, like pasteurization and homogenization, to kill bacteria and viruses and to make the milk more like the way we like it. Then it is put into various cartons and jugs to sell.

first of off how old are you? Cows do not pee in the cartons. Milk comes from cows that are on a dairy farm and they put a machine on there udders and then it goes threw a process then put it the cartons.

your kidding, right?

oh, i guess not. well, they hook up these machines to their udders, which is like a boob for a cow, but there are 6 or 8 nipples. i dont remember the exact amount. it sucks the milk out, and it travels through some tubing to a huge tank. then a semi truck comes and sucks the milk out of the big tank and takes it to a bottling plant. that is where they put the milk into the different sized cartons.
