When I had a girlfriend I sometimes just wanted to hold her. Didn't matter where we were standing, sitting, or laying down, I really just wanted to wrap my arms around her and craddle her and cuddle.
She wasn't usually much into that though!

Things that show that the guy thinks about your needs more than he thinks about his. But you have to do the same...that's a good sign to start with...for the both of you.
