Yes Big Island almost every year, you can ski, but don't bring ur best skis, on Maui it's been sporadic, it used to snow every year in the '80's now not every year, but the sunrises at the top of the crater, Haleakala ( House of the Sun) are magnificent!

Mauna Kea & Mauna Loa on the Big Island get snow pretty much every year. Haleakala (House of the sun) on Maui can also get snow, but don't count on seeing it.
