How to add some retro glamour to my bedroom?

Wow, sorry your first ansewer was from a complete moron. Maybe try adding some old photos, antiques, even some vintage hats on display.

get some retro-style fabric and make your own curtains or blanket or chair cover.
Can also check out flea markets, garage sales, thrift stores and etc. for things that you think fit the retro bill...I found a sky blue b/w TV (like new!) from the 50's or so at a yard sale for $5..can also check out estate sales

Also, paint in a deep color. If you don't want to do that for the whole room, then just paint an accent wall in a deep, sophisticated tone. You should have dimmers on your lights for times when you want a nice flattering glow. Also, instead of crisp, tailored lines, try drapey fabrics as window treatments.

Lots of bling things like mirrors, chandelier, etc. Think Hollywood starlet stuff.
I'd paint the walls a darkish colour - try something funky like chartreuse or fuscia if you want it to be girly.

Paint with some chartreuse and gold and use beige and cream accents....very romantic and retro!
