I agree, it's a good thing you haven't had a major crisis. And, it's good you are now looking into insurance. Good idea!

In order to find affordable insurance protection for you, your husband and future family I would first consider what types of insurance you currently need - such as, health insurance and life insurance, auto and home owners protection.

I recommend you compare quotes and coverage from one of the top-rated quote providers online.

I suggest InsureMe - They give you the five best quotes for insurance (life, health, home, auto) from top-rated insurers nationwide. To request a free, no obligation quote Go to - - http://www.insureme.com/?Refby=613600

I hope that helps! Take care and good luck with finding affordable insurance protection!

I work for a state Medicaid program that has a Health Insurance plan for Self-employed or Small business owners. I would advise checking with your local Medicaid program to see if they have such a plan. It is not a medicaid insurance but an actual insurance where you pay premiums.

I know there isn't a fisherman's union but is there any kind of group that you could buy insurance through? Other than that, just get out the yellow pages and start calling and getting quotes
till you find one you like
