maybe a yeast infection.. maybe not.. if you use pads, the discharge can get irritating.. if not.. you may just be dry.. cause of tampons.. I would wait until your period is over.. if still itchy, then by some feminine moisturizer from the drug store.

It could be a number of things. MOST LIKELY, however, you may have a yeast infection. Some women get them more than others. You may be sensitive. Yeast infection is very likely if you have been on antibiotics recently (the antibiotics kill the good bacteria too and a yeast infection occurs). Also it is very likely you have a yeast infection if you use scented tampons or pads. AND if you use birth control yeast infection is likely too. Try eating lots of yogurt. (make sure it says it has "active cultures") Yogurt replaces the good bacteria that are missing and causing the yeast infection. If the itch feels like it is inside you it is possibly a yeast infection or it could be a STD. If it is outside it is probably pubic lice (crabs). You get these if you are sexually active but you can also get them from public restrooms. You should probably go to the DR because it'll get worse instead of better. If you have any questions feel free to message me-just make sure your email has been confirmed by yahoo. If it hasn't, it won't let me message back. Good luck!

I agree with what others have said about a yeast infection, but no one has told you how to know if you have one or not. You will have white dots in your pubic hairs and when you're period is over (if you're wearing pads), you'll have a discharge in your panties that is white and actually smells like bread! Sorry to be direct, just being honest! The yogurt is good, and not wearing a lot of tight clothing helps also! Antibiotics are bad too, that's how I had my second daughter, but that was from a birth control issue, not a yeast infection, but antibiotics contribute to yeast infections. Good luck hon!

This could be a yeast infection. After you are finished with your period if the itching is still there then you can get monistat 7 for the problem. If that does not work go see your doctor.

Start eating yogurt. Women are more susceptible to yeast infections while on their period, right before or right after. This started happening to me. I never used to get them at all. I called my gyn and they said go get monistat. They won't even see you until you run through a treatment. This is a very common problem. You should feel relief within a day or 2 of treatment but don't discontinue the medication before directed. Follow up with your doctor if you have worsening symptoms or severe burning.

Try using a tampon so that you are getting some air down there. Use a light day unsented pad for xtra protection and change often. I never had a heavy flow at night and wore a tampon to bed w/o underwear sometimes when I had this problem. Make sure you wear cotton underwear. Its summertime, stuff like this happens, if it dosen't stop see a doc.

Could be a yeast infection or could be any number of things, including a reaction to the sanitary products you are using. Try Vagisil until you can get to the doctor. My friend also swears by a cool bath with soda mixed in. Good luck.

Sounds like you have a yeast infection or some sort of irritation, if you can talk to your mother or older sister, get a Doctors apt. so you can find out what is making you really itchy!!
If you are using a certain brand of Pads (Always) I found that they gave me a real bad itchy rash on each side of my panties, are you using Pads?? Still go get it evaluated!! It might get worse!
Good Luck!
