I really want to get married and I have been wanting it to be a beach wedding. I live in SC but I don't like myrtle beach because it is nasty looking. any suggestions??

Even though SC isn't that big of a state, it does seem to have a decent coastline. I should think you could find a place other than Myrtle Beach. Not knowing where in the state you're located, you could always go to Hilton Head. What about Conway? That's near Myrtle Beach. Or you could go the opposite direction & go to Charleston.

Are there other beaches in your area? Georgia or Florida perhaps? You could even do a beach destination wedding on a Caribbean island if you don't want a huge guest list. Lots of couples go away to Hawaii with a small group of family and friends (or not depending on price and how private or public they want it to be) to get married on the beach. It just depends what you want.

One of your former schools .
In a rented un-usual house, e.g Wind-mill converted into a house.
A former castle , where knights once lived . Very possible to rent one for a wedding.
A sporting stadium.

why not got to NC and have it on a beach there? you could go to NC and have it at Cape hatteris that beach is pretty nice i went there once. good luck
