Try a shelter. The fees are really affordable. And you know the dog has been checked by a vet. I think most shelters don't charge extra for the spaying/ neutering. At least the one where I got my dogs included it in the regular adoption fee. Good luck.

Go to the humane society and adopt one...it's not too expensive, but having a pet does cost money, so they will charge you some money to make sure you really are interested.

Let your mom get a dog if she wants one. Nothing worse than an unwanted pet.

DO NOT get a dog without first finding out if YOUR MOTHER... NOT YOU wants a dog. It is a huge responsiblity and time committment
