The first sign is denial...If you can't go three days without a drink- and you can't admit it even to yourself- then your a alcholic. But really someone who drinks is a DRUNKARD....an ALCHOLIC is someone who admits it and is in recovery!!!

face it, when you ask a question like this, you already know you are an alcoholic.
Get some help before it becomes worse. You can lose family, home, friends, etc. A drink is not worth losing everything that means so much in life.

Pretty much, when you spend all your money on alcohol and don't do anything else but drink your an alcoholic. although, statistics say that if you have more than 4 drinks a year, you are an alcoholic.

That's pretty bad. I believe that drinking alcohol at all is bad, though. But that is a good way to make sure you're NOT an alcoholic, just don't drink.
