Ahhh...so, after 4 1/2 years of dating, and nearly a year of looking for the perfect engagement ring for me, my boyfriend has found these two beautiful rings - and now we can't decide which one looks better! Since I am already wearing a simple-3-stone-diamond-gold ring, we want something that is going to be noticable as our NEW engagement ring. Something that you just can't help but to notice. But seeing as how we like both of them equally, we are in a bind! We decided to buy whichever one people think screams out 'We Are Getting Married!!!!'
Here are the two links...
Please, be honest!!!!
And if this helps, I wear both yellow and white gold..so it doesn't matter if its going to match my jewelry or not.
Thank you ahead of time...!

In reply to comments about the size, I would like to say that I don't like bigger rings. I think the bigger the stone looks, the more in tends to look fake. Besides, it's just a piece of jewlery...we don't want to spend a ton of money. We would rather of the money go towards really nice wedding bands, our furnishing our aparment after we get married. Marriage isn't about having a really expensive ring, or a really fancy wedding. We love each other deeply, and so for us, getting married IS worth it - ring or no ring. Its just a symbol of our commitment to each other...so anyone who thinks that its pointless to get married unless you have a huge ring on your finger is sadly mistaken.

As for our wedding date, it is set for November 3rd of next year...it will be our 5 1/2 year Anniversery!

I like the one a world jewlers, its really pretty and I like the detailing on the sides. I agree with you on not getting huge "show off rings" we went the same route and got beautiful weddign bands, getting married this sept. Put the extra cash you save towards a down payment on a house to start your marriage. Good luck.

Personally, I like the second one. Reason, I wear both gold and silver jewelry. And its more simple. But the first one screams "engaged". Go with the first one if you want that "We're getting married" look. Just make sure you can find a wedding band that will work with the ring if you want to wear both.

I LOVE the first one (www.worldjewels.net)!!! It defintely screams "We're ENGAGED!!!" That would for sure be the one I would pick!!

BUT, go with the one that fits your personality the best. They are two very different rings. The first one has so much beautiful detail with the engraving and the stones. It's so beautiful. It really reminds me a lot of my engagement ring. Good luck in your decision!! :)

The second one is absolutely beautiful and the perfect engagement ring. Go with that one!

Which one do YOU prefer?

I favor the two-toned one.
