I think my mouth hurts from the gag you just placed in my mouth. No matter, my fingers still speak very well, thank you.
You ask not to use a book, but you ask us to prove how God does/doesnt do something. Since God wrote his own reasons down, we cannot do this without quoting him.
It would be like me trying to tell people what you said, without referring to what you said.
I agree with part of what you said: Evil around us can be conclusively proved. But not with the fact that God refuses to prove its existence.
Is that evil's existence or God's own existence?
If it is evil's existence that you are talking about - why would God have to prove it - since it is so obvious. He did choose to acknowledge evil, explains why it exists, and how he will rid the world of it. But, you ask us not to quote him. hmmm - Which means that either we put words in his mouth (by trying to speak for him, when he did such a perfectly good job himself) or we point to the physical evidence of evil, which you yourself already did.
If you are talking about God refusing to prove that he exists....... Seems to me that he did do his own talking and proving, and yet people ignore it. The universe around us gives evidence of God's existence, as does your own beating heart and the abilities of your own brain, etc etc etc.
How can someone state that someone else did not do something, when they did and then ask someone else to pretend that he didnt?
What if I wrote a diary about my feelings, conduct, choices, etc., and then you asked someone else (who had never met me personally or read my diary) to interpret the very things that I wrote about myself, and told them that they could not quote me on my own business?
Some people claim that God does not exist, and then are upset with (and mock) the people who do believe it, and point to both physical and written evidence of his existence, by quoting his own words.
True, many people, by misquoting him and by their own actions, make him out to be the very thing that the unbelievers say he is/isnt.
I understand why a lot of people would not want to believe in God or religion when you see people who cannot back up what they say from the very book they claim to follow, or who say one thing and do another. If I had not studied the Bible myself to see the difference, (and was blind to the universe), then I probably wouldnt believe in God either.
Sometimes you cant see the trees for the forest.

So empowered, the lovers negate the blinding brilliance of love! God does not refuse anything, ever! God is the endless energy source. God can only give, it is impossible for God to take or refuse. God is everywhere! Not here or there! If you want to understand God than learn about the ancient stories of where we came from. Your idea of God, is probably not the one you will find! If you understand God in a realistic and simple way, than you will have all the proof you'll ever need. To me the very fact that anything is at all, is proof of God. That's because I know and understand that without balance and The Infinite, there is no possibility of anything exsisting at all! Except, yep, The Infinite, It exsists weather anything is or not. It touches everything, while nothing can touch it! God is The Infinite and God's spirit or energy is everywhere! There is nothing but It or without It! If you were familiar with this concept of God and looked within yourself with open contemplation, within your own heart would God be revieled to you. There will never be any other kind of proof, for God is immeasurable! By the way, just because you can measure something with Science does not make it real! It is real to our perception of the world, but not necessarily real. You would also know this if you were to study theoretical physics. Everything in the world is actually just a vibration of energy(light). It is language and communication that has brought us to such a world, there really is no structure in a concrete sense, other than an interaction of information and the awarness of it!
A scientific view-
"It is true, that reality is mearly an illusion...albiet a very persistant one." - Albert Einstien
A common ancient spiritual view-
"The objective (outer) world arises from the mind." - The Buddha
I don't understand the point in your details because God gives life to every being and death also becomes every material being. If you don't find birth a miracle well then you should really go take a look in the mental mirror and ask yourself. Are my beliefs and way of looking at the world, sane?

Can you say you can prove evil can be proved? I think that the evil in all of us can be proved, but if you look harder, also you can see some good in us.
God wants us to love him and have faith in him. Why must we 'know' he exists to do what he taught us? Would we only love him if we saw him?
What if he comes down to earth again? Would we believe him? or say that it's just a loony character with good special effects?
I don't think we can scientifically prove he exists. But if we watch closely, we can see his doings. There was an email about this after 7/11 which was pretty good. It started by quoting that how could he allow that act on Innocent people? And then the mail said that he was actually busy trying to keep people from going to work, to allow some people out of the tower before they came down, and a lot of other quotations which makes you think. It was in no way to minimize the damage of the terrorist act, but that sometimes God helps us in other things that we don't see.
How many times did you put yourself in a situation that could have lead to your accidental death, but somehow you were saved, even unknowingly? I have had some close encounters, and I think that the only reason I'm typing this lines is because he helped me on those occasions.

God has in fact shown himself in the past but many people refuse to listen to that testimony.
Many atheists think all they need to see is some proof and they'll be Gods relentless servant for life and it doesnt work like that at all. There are many examples in the Bible of God physically showing himself as well as Jesus doing miracles and it rarely led to Gods enemies falling down on their knees begging for forgiveness.
Its too bad you seem to be anti-Scripture. There is much to be learned if you'll just read the Bible and hear the truth for yourself.

why does God refuse to prove HIS existence? or why does He refuse to prove EVIL's existence? Evil proves it's own existence. Why not quote? so no one can say you are wrong? There is good and evil in the world. Good is from God and evil is from Satan. Good will always prevail. I don't know what else to tell you.
When people refuse to have faith and only use intelligence they are turning to evil and playing God.

good is also around us which would stand to reason that their is god. evil for some reason gets more attention. i have always wanted to hear on the news about a child who helps an old lady across the street....but instead they choose to empower evil by broadcasting it. i feel that if people would downplay evil and give more attention to good things would change, drastically

Jesus did tell us that Satan is the god of this world and one of the New Testament writers tells us that the days are evil...
By the way...? Exactly what is a "normal human?"
