I am sure the maid was picking up the mail from Saturday, since everyone was out that day and no one had picked it up. I'll bet the wife sent her out to get it so there wouldn't be a witness as she killed her husband then snuck back upstairs and pretended to be sleeping. She was jealous of the affair he was having with the Burger King, who would mysteriously appear in their bed holding a sandwich in the mornings. She had spotted him many times staring through their bedroom window and, on one occasion, he had knocked her off their tandem bicycle as they were passing through a tunnel, taking her place on the back seat.
