That all depends on where you work.

At an office where you have to deal with clients, it may be frowned upon by your superiors, but there is nothing that they could do to make you change your hair. You have the right to have whatever style that you want. Different ethnic, religious, cultural styles must be respected in a workplace. Otherwise, it's discrimination.

If that's what you want to do with your hair, then go for it. If you don't like it, or you feel that you are getting pressure from work, then you could always cut it.

I'm a cosmetologist & I would view a well groomed afro like any other hairstyle.

Can you keep it trimmed and shaped? Do you have the personality to pull it off? Some people can make it work. Make sure you have a good hair person to help you with the transition.

it would look dead on professional if u would hang a variety of ornaments from it; chrismas decorations, stickers, cigar lighters, disco lights.....
