Everyone has difference of opinions on this subject. My opinion is that all the religions have different beliefs but ultimately we are heading to the same God for the most part. We just sometimes call him by different names. The basics of most religions are the same, God is love and should be feared. The difference is the types of things you can do to fear the wrath of God. I believe that there will be some people from all religions in heaven and there will be a lot people from those same religions in hell too. I am Christian and don't believe in the rituals of Catholic society but know people that are catholic and truly love God and follow their religion and I can not see them going to hell just because they are in a religion I don't believe in. I would hope that God would take into consideration our love and devotion for him when deciding who stays with him and who lives in damnation until the actual end.

Christianity isnt better then catholicism. They were the same religion a long time ago. The a man named martin luther came. He was a catholic monk. He wanted a closer relationship with god. He didnt want to have to have to buy indulgeces ( they were sold to by preists to reduce time in porgatory). So he made his own religion. Protestantism, or all other christian religions other then catholicism. Christianity is close to catholcism just alot simpler the it.

WHO told you that you were going to hell?!!!! I am not Catholic, but certainly know enough about Catholicism since I was brought up Catholic to know that it isn't true! I left the Catholic church for reasons of not believing in legalism and ritualism. That aside, Catholics believe that Christ is their Savior as well. Don't listen to some of the ignorant statements made by others including misguided fellow Christians. Just educate them.

Catholisism is Christianity. It's just a different denomination of Christianity. Christianity branched after the Protistant Reformation. You should google this subject...It's really fascinating. Just because youre Catholic, doesnt mean youre going to hell, I can promise you that... "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." As long as you have a personal relationship with Him, your all good... There are many other different branches of Christianity, too. I really think you should research this a little, and you'll find it pretty cool.
Good luck with your studies...

I'm an evangelical Christian and I don't believe Catholics will go to Hell just because they're Catholics. I have many Catholic friends who live a very real and vibrant faith -- Catholics are Christians too. What ultimately matters is whether someone has put their faith in Jesus and become his follower.

Um, a Catholic would supposedly go to hell? Since when?
What the frammit?
I'm Catholic and I believe that you cannot truly go to hell unless you choose it yourself, because hell is being totally separated from God. Completely.
And who said Christianity was better anyways? It's all in your spirtualality and your point of view.

yes so will everyone who sins that includes the whole human race.but the only ticket out of hell is jesus christ.not the pope, preacher,or your mom.you will decide your eternal destination.i'm going to heaven some day NOT BECAUSE I'M GOOD.BUT BECAUSE I'VE BEEN FORGIVEN. the standards for heaven are GODS NOT MANS.GOD said no jesus no heaven.this is why christainity is so offensive it's the only way.the other religions are kinda grouped together love one another ,be nice, give to the poor etc...and when you die you will get to heaven(your good out ways your bad thing)christianity says the opposite now matter how good you are you will not go to heaven.this teaching is very hard for the world to take.your choice my friend.choose wisely your soul is depending on it.

First off no one here on earth can tell you, you are going to hell because you are Catholic. You believe in God and we do as well. We pray to our Heavenly Father and no one else. Only God will choose who goes to hell.

The bible says that the gift of salvation is available to any who want it through Jesus Christ. We are not saved because of our religious ideology. We are not saved through our own deeds. We can only be saved if we accept the precious sacrifice that was made for us by the son of God. No matter who we are or where we come from Jesus is extending his loving arms to us all. What an awesome God we serve!

If you die with Regret, I think you will go to somewhere Equivalent. Just like Dreams where can feel physical pain and taste non-existent food, Death my be a Eternal dream. Whether you have a nightmare or a Dreamscape depends how you take when you pass.
PS
Catholicism is Christianity. Its just a Branch of it like Baptist or Penescostal.
