About three years ago the girl moved in the apartment next door, I have only run into her her 5 or so times (different schedules I guess), most of them this year. The problem is that when I do see her, she is always with a bunch of friends so I really can't just walk up to her since i don't have the confidence to put on a show for her pals. I did see her alone once but she was on her cell. The irony of the situation is that some of the people I see her with are from my high school, this is a slap in the face to me, I live right next door and I dont even get a hello. I need to know how to go about meeting her/ talking for the first time without looking foolish and when to do it since she is always with her friends or on her cell. Keep in mind that I rarely see her so I don't really have a choice of which time she is most "available."

Here's what I did about a year ago with a girl that lived next to me... I just knocked on her door one afternoon and introduced myself, we chatted for a few minutes and I invited her out to dinner that night. We ended up having a great time and dated for a while even. I was a bit leery about doing this but I ran it by a few girlfriends first to see if they thought it would be weird or creepy... they all said it would be fine just don't knock on her door too late in the evening and don't do it drunk. Now, unless you can handle rejection well I wouldn't try this approach unless you are very certain that she would be receptive to you. If it doesn't work out at least you don't run into her much anyway and you could also move if it gets awkward. Good luck.

OK! if you were a wolf and she was the prey, you would die of starvation!!!!! OK you must have confidence!!! no matter how she looks, she is just a person like you and me! which means she takes a crap just like you! so with that being said, you must know that you are the man, that all the ladies want you. you approach her and act like it is a privilege for her to know you. and girls love it when one guy is bold enough to walk up to her and single her out from all her friends and is not afraid! to sum it up in a nut shell, all girls want a man that is masculine but sensitive and not afraid to show how he feels, all ways be bold! if you can master this you will see why i am a ladies man! :)

The old "Borrow a Cup of Milk" (or butter ... or ... ) ... If she asks why say you had a craving for Chocolate Chip Cookies, and offer to bring her over some when you are done for the favour. If she seems interested ... further ask her to join you in the baking. WATCH FOR BODY CUES .... If she thinks you are cute she will generally be ethusiastic.

bring her some cookies as a "next door neighbor formal introduction" and be like "I know I've seen you around and I just never got the chance to introduce myself" or you could leave them outside her door when you know she is coming home with a note that says something similar to that. Stuff like that is totally cute.

Try to keep up the "How's It Going" when you do see her.
Keep dressed nice most times in case you run into her.
Try to figure when she does laundry and say "how's it going".
