near the ancient village of Qumran. These became known as the Copper Scroll. This scroll was a basic accounting of objects. In 1988 a team of archeologists began to search and found a cave that contained the hidden oil of annointing, lost 2000 yrs ago. The oil after analysis proved to be the composed of the 5 special ingredients exactly as the bible described . Daniel 9:24 says that the final conclusion of the seventy weeks vision will happen when they annoint the most holy. I believe that the finding of this oil sets the stage for the Jesus's return. Is it possible Jesus will be annointed with the oil as Israel's Messiah when He returns to save Jerusalem, cleanse the third temple, and establish his kingdom for ever? It is significant that the oil, lost for thousands of yrs be discovered in our generation. It is now in possession of 2 chief rabbis of Israel for safekeeping. When the Lord returns to set up his kingdom the oil may be used to usher in his messianic rule.

During the Exodus God commanded Moses to create the oil; And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment an ointment compound after the art of the apothecary; it shall be an holy anointing oil. And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony.. And thou shalt anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them that they may minister unto me in the priest's office. And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel saying This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations. Exodus 30:25-26,30-31)
The Israel Museum verifies that the composition of the oil is unlike that of any other ever evaluated. The discovery provides the oil necessary for the anointing of the temple, the sacred vessels, the cohanim and Messiah, King of Israel.

Don't hold your breath. A few archaeological findings do not in the least imply Jesus is returning.

Of course you think it's significant that this discovery took place in our generation. You're bound to find SOMEthing significant that happens in our generation, because you desperately want to believe that Jesus really is going to show up sometime in the near future and prove you were right all along. Never mind that every generation since Paul thought the Second Coming was going to happen in their lifetimes, and every one was mistaken.
Do you really think Jesus would care about being annointed with oil? If he did, don't you think he could simply cause the oil to spontaneously appear from the void?
He's going to have to overcome several dozen immutable laws of physics in order to show up at all; and if he succeeds at that, I don't think anyone will be standing around wondering, "Is it really Him? After all, He hasn't been annointed with the special oil, so how can we be sure?"
