yeah, the islamic god is love, and the father too. don't say anything unless you know what you're talking about. Christians, Jews, and muslims believe in the same god, like it or not.

You've obviously never read the Koran.

Like most Christians.

I'm an agnostic and a former Christian, and I've read both the Bible and the Koran. They are very similar.

You should read what you talk about before you offend someone with your ignorance.

The Koran repeatedly refers to Allah/God as the Compassionate, and the Merciful.

Allah from the Koran says He is a God of War and Wrath while the Bible shows Him to be loving and forgiving.

Very different . The teachings of Christ are not only not the same of those of Mohamed but fundamentally the opposite. Besides the rhetoric of the Muslim world, consider their actions over the last 1300 years. The Christians who apply their beliefs will go into the world like Mother Theresa and help heal and feed the needy no matter what their beliefs may be. The Muslim Ideal is that of Jihad. They go into the world and when given the opportunity they subjugate and coerce just like the Taliban recently did in Afghanistan. Just read the news papers and History and it becomes clear.

The GOD in The Holy Bible and ALLAH in The Holy Quran are to be Same, but due to some misconceptions Bible says "Jesus is god" and "Jesus is son of god", BUT Thats Totally NOT True, Prophet Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) is Only The Prophet of GOD and NO more than that, as It is stated in The Holy Quran, and GOD is father to NO One. May ALLAH (GOD) forgive me for my sins, 'coz ALLAH is Most Merciful and Most Benificient, and HE Loves those, who Love HIM.

like most people here on y!answers who keep seeing the Quran as a 'hate-book', I don't think u have read the Quran.

IF u have read the Quran than in the FIRST chapter, he is refereed to as 'Ar rahman' and 'Ar Raheem' and 'Rab'

Ar rahman means means Most Gracious. Ar Raheem means Most Merciful. Rab means, sustainer, cherisher, giver of security, lord, fosterer, Al-mighty, al wise.........Rab dosn't really have an equivalant word in english.

what i mean is, this accusation is false that 'he not love or father'. In another place (I forgot if it was in the hadeeth or the quran) but it is quoted that he loves his creations more than 70 mothers. Meaning, u know how much 1 mother loves her kids. If u put together the love of 70 mothers, His love is even more than that. IT is also quoted That He is closeset to everyone closer than the closest artery.

ps. Fathers get angry VERY VERY easily. U have those fathers who cut out their children out of their will and so on who dont listen to them. It happens in TODAY's times.

Actually, in the Old Testament, Yahweh is pretty harsh. He lets the Hebrews commit genocide, etc.

But in both cases he's referred to as merciful, and loving, in the Koran, and the Bible.

Mohamed is in the Christian Bible but not many people know this. Christ and others mention false prophets , and they shall be known by their fruits(actions). The also mention the anti-Christ. The murder of the innocent and the rest of what Islam is doing and has done is clear proof of the falsehood and evil of this particular prophet. The truth shall set you free.

*giggle at the first answer*

No, they are not the "same" God. Anyone one who *has* read five sentences out of either book knows this.

The standard answer of " The Christians, Jew, and Muslims all worship the same God" generally come from someone who has little knowledge of any of the religions.

You could say that they are the same God, just with one group having a different perspective on that person. "'He's nice,' "No, I think he's mean.'" Is one person right and the other wrong?
