If ur wanting permanent then u need a perm w/ the biggest rods that ur hair can wrap around at least 3 times. U would then use a gel on ur wet hair & let it air dry. Can also use a shine spray on it once dry. If u just want temporary then u need a waving iron. u would use a gel when wet then dry then use shine product b4 & after iron. I suggest u visit a hair salon 4 pro hair care product reccomendations.

You may not understand or like this answer, but finger waves.
Finger waves done with gel stay, look fresh, appear wet and are SO easy to do.
Too old fashioned for you, I'm sure, but Christina Aguilar is wearing finger waves in her new video!

after u get outta the shower put gel and ocean waves beach spray(artificial good smelling saltwater) in ur hair and braid it in like four sections...it will dry then when u take em out they will have the sleek wet look u want!

all you have to do is put it in pin curls and then spray it with oilsheen and carry oil sheen with you were ever you go in a pockybook and spray your hair every 10minets

after you wash your hair put it in braids sleep in them ,take them down , put some gel in your hair and then some strong hairspray or spritz

I don't know..I have never been able to get my hair wavy, so I just deal with having straight hair. lol
