Yes, u can get excused from school 'cause it's contagious. I wouldn't advise wearing same contacts just ask ur doctor. I believe 2 or 3days. not sure on that one.

pinkeye or conjunctivitis is highly contagious, so yes, I would think you could get excused from school. As for contacts, I'd definitely say no until the eye clears up. Are you using any drops or other medicines prescribed by your physician or eye doctor to clear up the condition? This will determine how long the pinkeye will last and when you can go back to wearing contacts.

Check webmd.com I believe it is contagious up to 24 or 48 hours and it is highly contagious so you would be excused within that timeframe. Through away the contacts you had in with the infectious eye/s or you will get it back. Try to not wear your contacts for a few days so you do not irratate your eye.

pink eye spreads quick yes the doctor will excuse you from school,I would not wear the contacts while you have it.The doctor will give you eye drops to get rid of it because if you touch one eye and then the other it will spread. It takes about 3 to 4 days to get rid of it so wait to wear the contacts until its gone.

Yes you can be excused from school if it is the contagious type, and no you can not use you contacts until it's gone. you will just keep giving the infection back to yourself.

You will pass the conjunctivitis to other students just by shaking thier hands. I would pass on school, get medications, stay in bed in a dark room give your eyes a rest.

Go to the doctor, he SHOULD give you a note. It can last from 7-14 days or longer. But it's contagious.
DO NOT WEAR CONTACTS and don't use the ones you used before and get a completely new case.
Seriously. It can spread again and damage your eyes.

Seeing that its highly contagious, yes you can definitely get excused from school. DO NOT put your contacts back in your eyes until they have been thoroughly disinfected and your eye infection is gone.

You cant go to school since it is highly contagious. My daughter had it and the doctor gave her some drops to put in her eye every 4 hours and it cleared up in 2 days. But she couldnt go back to daycare until 48 hours after it clears up since it is still contagious.

Yes, you can be excused from school. Don't wear your contacts at all; you'll contaminated them and reinfect yourself. In fact, if you wear the disposable ones, I'd throw that pair away and put in a new pair when you get well.

You might get excused, and I wouldnt recommend using your contacts b/c they can get infected with the pink eye, so they will have to go bye bye! :)
