in what context??? because it means like a small plaza, square or park. I don´t know if this is the meaning that you are looking for...

la placita is just like a little place.

it comes from plaza, which is like a town square, and has -ita to make it little and familiar.

i go to a mexican cafe called "la placita" ...its just a cute name
