Definitely not.. The kind of Love you are talking about is the second most beautiful feeling in this world after the motherly love.. Though the answerer has never been in love , but it can be understandable that it feels like heaven to be in love .Not, to fall in but to rise in love.... Those who really love can never mess up their lives.. Love is not a narrow feeling that is confined to self only..It teaches one to be selfless, to be a many within a single, to be the first one to stand up and confess "I DO"..... So LOVE.......

Sounds like you have just been through a tough one (relationship). I believe that "true love" is all about COMMITMENT. Relationships start out with some sort of infatuation, wether it is physical or emotional. Eventually it dwindles from a real high to, "okay same thing different day". If there is a real bond "love" than commitment and understanding must definitely be there. Most successful marriages are still intact, not just because of superficial love, but a combo of the previously mentioned things. People that literally kill themselves for love are just Weak and Confused. Saying that you would give your life for your loved one is cool, but actually doing it, Damn Fool!! While the lover dies for his/her princess/prince, the other moves on and LOVES ANOTHER. Men will always attract to the opposite sex, its got to be allot better than being attracted to the same sex. I can tell you from personal accounts that women enjoy it as much as men, they don't show it as much. We men happen to be more open about it, although I have met some women that would put some men to shame in this matter. Honey, if you truly love someone and he loves you, you do not have to change for that person. They should love you for who you are, If not, there are "A LOT MORE FISH IN THE SEA". So, keep fishing, until you catch the one that treats you like a Queen! Hope that helps.

Yes, provided the word 'love' is used in a narrow sense of the term. Otherwise, Love is God and Love is Truth and Beauty both.
