As mentioned, most cruise lines have a special singles trip now and again. Since I don't know your age it's hard for me to guess when the best time for you to go is. Most of the mass market lines RCCL, Carnival, NCL etc have pretty similar demographics. During the summer and around holidays, you will see alot more families since kids are out of school. If you are young, mid march-early april is usually good with collage spring breaks going on. The shorter cruises usually have more singles since mostly older/retired people are the only ones who have the time for a 10+ day cruise. Carnival had a rep back in the 90s as a floating frat house. It has cleaned up it's act the past few years and is more familly oriented now but it probably has a bit more partying on it than some of the other lines. Also, the ports you choose can have a play in this. Alot of the 3 day cruise to the bahamas are known as booze cruises, cozumel is also a party destination. You can sit at the pier and watch the drunks being rolled back to the ship in bicycle carts. Funny to watch. Go to cruisecritic.com
