i recently bought a corn burning stove, i have 25 bushels of corn in 4 plastic barrels with makeshit lids on them, its starting to rain. do you think the corn will stay dry, or will it draw mosture?

Corn will draw moisture. Farmers dry their corn when it's taken from field, then store in moisture tight metal storage buildings to keep the moisture content as low as possible. Keep the lids on the barrels as tightly as you can, especially if you live an area of high humidity.

Corn definitely will draw moisture. Corn for stoves is dried, it will swell from moisture in the air.

i think it depends on how the wether is when its raining and how cold it is in side and out .do you know you can hear corn grow at night .
