ok this is very stupid but i dont know how to floss, never had...so i bought the floss thingy...it's supposed to go up and down right, not sideways cause my gum said know if u know wha ti mean!

you should drag the floss up and down and on both sides. i.e., the back of one tooth and the fron of the other. you should also floss up into the gums GENTLY. stimulation of the gums os very healthy. also try to drag the floss across the outside of the tooth to scrape of any plaque.

I personally use a Reach flosser. LOVE IT
If not using a floss holder, grab about 18 inches of floss, wrap the ends with your middle fingers. Use the index finger and thumbs to manuever the floss. "wrap" the floss around the tooth like making a letter "C"... move the floss up and down around each tooth.

twirl both ends of the floss around ur index finger... use the floss and drag it in between the 2 teeth..... anything stuck inside should come out.... dont drag or pull too hard against the gums or it might bleed.....
