Like all relationships there needs to be order and discipline and the woman needs to respect her man. Unlike most men, I don't believe in immature "punishments" like the silent treatment, leaving for a few days, having sex with her sister to get back with her, etc. I am looking for some type of punishment that is loving yet firm.

Slavery became illegal in the United States more than a hundred years ago. The best thing you can do is dump her--she actually has a will of her own so this is never going to work.
BTW punishment of another human being for behavior you consider contrary to what you want could be considered immature on it's own. Have you considered talking to her to find out exactly why she did what she did? Also you mention respect......sorry I am laughing so hard I'm crying and couldn't see the screen there for a minute.

Have you tried talking to her and if your good at wording things she will be in shape in no time. What about you though, do you go against her orders? Its not about you all the time sir and although men are supposedly the stronger sex, there still needs to be some compromise on your part too. How would you feel if she punished you everytime you did something stupid, no one's perfect. I hope it works out for you guys... Dont marry her if your that upset...

The best punishment for anyone who goes against sound, tried and proven advice is "BEING WRONG" and finding out you were wrong by experiencing the natural consequences of making an incorrect choice or a bad decision. When you tell someone the facts you know to be true and they reject your advice in a defiant, obnoxious manner, let them get themselves out of their own mess, without your assistance. That is REAL punishment.

If she did something to upset you - talk to her and act like a freaking adult. She's not a child you do not put her in time out or talk down to her in any way.

Spank her bare bottom with a hair brush. But you have to verbally issue an altamatum both before and after doing it. You also have to be persisistent at it, don't ever give up your power over her! The alternatives wont work.
