i think 2 days ago, i died my hair permanant black. (over redish & copperish highlights left over from april) today I bleached the tips of my hair twice in attempt to get it light enough to dye blue. i then tried to put in the blue, but it turned out green where i put it in, so i rinsed it out. tommorrow im planning on bleaching it atleast twice more with a stronger bleach, then dying it blue. how bad it this for my hair??

it'll be fine, i've been dying my hair and bleaching it and dying it, haha, for the past few years. once you're finished tomorrow, condition your hair like crazy! most hair dyes come with a tube of conditioner, but i would recommend getting pantene pro-v intensive moisturizing mask. it comes in this big jar for like $5 i think, i LOVE it! i use it twice a week to keep my hair soft, so try using this as you're showering tomorrow night or the next morning.

hope all goes well! your new hair sounds awesome!

Yep - your hair will be straw or melt off. Give it a little time - you will still probably have to have the ends trimmed off due to the damage. A permanent colour over another colour will fade rather rapidly if you wash it every day - oil based conditioners or hair products will also help to pull the colour out. What you will be left with is something with a red/orange undertone which wil be hard to lift with bleach.

Well, it doesn't look too good. Just in case things go wrong, you might want to look at short hair styles and get some ideas.

Your hair needs to rest for some days and maybe a good natural leave-in conditioner like jojoba. Another alternative you could consider is consulting a professional hair colorist in a shop.

Then again, Sinead doesn't look too bad.

well it depends on the condition of ur hair before u dyed it.....just make sure to eep condition ur hair every week and dont use a blow dryer or flat iron for atr least a month.ur hair may dry up a little or become brittle just dont wash ur hair to much and heat style it.

my hair is black and i've bleached it blonde and i had to do it 6 times to get it right. it doesn't fry your hair as much your scalp. i had days of scabbing and tender scalp afterwards...

it is bad for your hair but once you've finished and it makes you look HOT then it's completely worth it! ;)
