I would like to think I have, but in all honesty I'm not quite sure. I have a loving husband, five wonderful children, a nice house, friends, and money isn't an issue, but I still feel like I'm not finished yet. What I mean by that, is that I don't think any of us can look at ourselves and call ourselves successful. When you think of success, it usually comes at the end of a job, when you are finished with a task. We, are all still alive, most of us, nowhere near the age of death. I don't think any of us have gotten to the point in life where we are near the end and get the chance to look back on everything to be able to judge our lives as successful.

It's an odd theory, but it is how I look at it. I chuckle when I see stars on tv who've made it big, have money for years to come and sit idly in their homes doing nothing. They call that successful. Those people haven't saved a life, done the world a great deed, or accomplished anything other than having the right connections. That's not success...that's luck.

I guess the answer to your question is going to be based on what people think success is.

Success is different to many people. Some measure success in dollars and cents. Others measure success in happiness. While still others measure it in the number of lives they have touched in a positive way. I have the love of friends and family, and I try to help people along the way yet I am financially a poor man. I feel wealthy though and when I see the poor "rich" people I pity them for missing the whole oint of life!

I say that success can be known at the end, coz the desire for success will keep you going, depending on what a person likes. So, everyday, I am thinking ways on how to get there.

I don't know if you would call it success.....but I can honestly say that I've done everything I always wanted to do throughout my lifetime and now I"m at the point where I'm totally content.

yes, I've made my parents proud of me. They gave me everything in my life growing up, but I was a rebellious kid and always got in trouble and made them look like bad parents.

But now I'm in the military and I'm successful and making them and myself proud.

While there is always room for improvement, I have set goals and have accomplished some.
