Yes they are getting excited and yes Bush is going to get the
blame however there is some worry about the lack of hurricanes
so far this year...
If there are fewer hurricanes than forecast and they do little or no damage there will be great disappointment...

I believe that global warming is a reality but that it is rather felt in the Arctic where icebergs are calving, The Glacier Monument is fast becoming a desert. I say everyone is to blame.
I live in Florida, so I am not excited about hurricanes at all. As I am writing this, two are forming in the Atlantic with one aiming for the Gulf of Mexico.
I don't need hurricanes to blame Bush as I already blame him for everything wrong from war to civil war to worsening poverty and hatred for and from the rest of the world.

Seeing as how the current season is below the average in the number of storms I'd say they may be worrying that their theory is wrong. And sure they always find a way to blame Bush their hatred of him has no logical boundaries and besides they can't accept the idea that there isn't someone else to blame they can't take any responsibility for anything.

No one said that the hurricane seasons are going to be horrendous every year. Scientists are looking for trends, not data from a single year. The hurricane season has been relatively quiet, but that doesn't prove or disprove global warming.

Seeing nothing has happend of much consequence yet global warming worshipers aren't too excited although I'm sure they will find a way to blame Bush for the lack of hurricanes due to global warming.

I'm not sure excited is the proper term. I am
concerned about it and I'm sure it is a real
disaster in the making.
Bush is only responsible to the extent that we all are.
His problem is that he can't believe there is a problem
and therefore there is no need to worry about it.
The one easy way to help stop the global warming
is to Replant trees in all the forests that have been
Clear Cut by Loggers. Then stop the Loggers from Clear Cutting trees. There should be no more cutting of trees until the Warming is in check. then only Selective
Cutting of trees should be allowed. Foriegn countries should also stop slashing and burning forests.

Bush WILL get the blame if he F's up again and appoints idiots who cannot deal appropriately with disaster relief as happened last year. Where the F were the National Guard when they were needed? They should have been there within a day. Don't tell me you didn't notice there was something terribly wrong with that situation.

What hurricane season? This year's looks like a dud so far....but yeah, Bush is darned if he does and darned if he doesn't .....isn't it funny when a president who is favored by the media gets credit for things he had nothing to do with, and when a president is hated by the media he gets blamed for things beyond his control?
