That's one of the most expensive places in town. You can do better. There is a Hampton Inn downtown that might work for you. You might want to check orbitz.com for Amherst, which is a big suburb. Plenty of mid-rate hotels there, including another Hampton Inn. Good luck.

Check hotels on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. Canadian rates and better city to visit than Buffalo.

You will do much, much better staying on the Canadian side of Niagra Falls. Also much more convenient and pleasant. The exchange rate, while not as good as before, is still to your advantage. Really, turn a trip into a vacation. P.S. I am not Canadian and am simply talking from my own experience.

Don't know abaout Buffalo. But in Jacksonville, Florida forget about it. They are racist pigs who keep getting sued and keep losing yet keep being racist pigs.
