I've been THC free for about 5 years now and litteraly not fazzed by it anymore, but my question here is, how long does it take for THC or Marijuana(Inhaled/Smoked)to go away from the human body?

I don't mind simple answers but be a little more specific.

No it's ok, but I'm asking from personal experience out of people, I just don't give science alot of confidence.

I've heard people say that traces can be detected in the human body for up to 2 months, but I haven't heard that from any credible sources.

I've also heard that it can remain stored in your body fat a lot longer than this. People who used to smoke very heavily have noticed this. If you're not particularly active, you may wish to put this theory to the test by going for a vigourous run/cycle - anything that will result in burning fat. If you get stoned as a result (yes, this has happened to someone I know), then I guess the answer to your question is >5 years.

Hope someone can be more helpful than I have been.

6-8 weeks. I have worked in a clinic where they actually do drug testing and that is actually how long marijuana stays in the human body.

My ex-son law had to go in for UA tests all the time and of course he partook of things he should'nt have. The actual drug takes 30 days to work it's way out of the body. But the effects on the brain cells are much more far reaching and their not sure they ever do actually recover or should I say regrow.

OK to the guy that doesn't like research, don't answer then!

And to get on with the question, I was always told that it's out of your "system" in about a month. But I was also told that it stays on your hair forever.

if you are not a habitual smoker and depending on your weight and metabolism thc will be out of your system in as little as 3 days...however if you are a heavy daily smoker then it can take 30 days or more for thc to leave your body...you can purchase at home drug test at Walgreens and the like or get them cheaper on Ebay
