My Mexican neighbors taught it to him and now he makes fun of me behind my back almost 24-7.
I don't know exactly what he is saying but I can tell by the way they laugh that he is getting in some pretty good zingers.

i had this exact issue w. my squirel.... my nieghbors tuaght him russian and now he cusses me out over the phone, he calls me from bosnia every once in a while......its really hurtful since i raised him from birth but what am i guna do ya know......and i would change my number but i figure he might wanta call me one day to say hes sorry so i keep my number the same hoping one day he'll change

The solution here is for YOU to take some spanish classes at a local high school at night when you are off work. Once you get a grasp of the language, you will be able to understand most everything your neighbors say. You will also understand what shoppers are saying to each other, what co-workers are saying to each other and what snide remarks are made right in front of you. Then, when you and your neighbors are together, you say something in spanish to your dog, and everyone will laugh, including you!!

How come you're fixed on keeping the dog from speaking Spanish, instead of trying to find out how you can make some money off his talent? That the dog "talks" at all is amazing in itself, whether it's Spanish or English he speaks. I'm sure this has dawned on you, but I thought I should say it anyway, just in case. Good luck with that.

I'll bet he's also listening to Spanish radio stations and watching Spanish soap operas during the day. If that is the case, it's too late. There is nothing you can do. He has bought the whole enchillada.

Have him watch lots of TV, English speaking channels only. If he refuses to learn, give him to the neighbors.

Learn some basic Spanish yourself behind his back. Then you can confront him with what he's been saying and really stick it to the little son of a b***h!

ok when you say your dog i hope you mean dog as in your friend and not an actual dog(which i think ppl might confuse that) and you can learn spanish and curse them out or just brush it off. I look at it like if i don't know what ur saying then it can't hurt me
