Bark Busters is an international in-home obedience training program. The trainer comes to your home to work individually with you and your dog.

I am NOT talking about shock collars! Bark Busters is a company that has professional dog trainers come to your home to teach their method of obedience training. I am sorry for any confusion with this question! I was thinking of enrolling my dog for their training program. I just thought some one might have trained their dog with this company and was looking for feedback.

If you are in the market for a training program, check out Petsmart. They have reward based training classes and guarantee that you will be satisfied with the results. I have never heard any reviews about Bark Busters (other than the shock..LOL) from someone who has personally used them. My concern with their method is... they say they use a dogs own language...this is great when it comes to small minor corrections (verbal only). For a major infraction that would warrant an alpha roll from a pack member...well people just cant do that like another dog could. In theory sure but in reality we just cant not at least to same effectiveness. Because it is a franchise you may get a 'trainer' that is a little over assertive with the corrections..and could injure the dog. Best of luck

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aMPtJ
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Bark Buster became distinctive. that they had a plan, that fee approximately $500.00 yet i would be incorrect on the fee. This covers each and every thing. i did no longer circulate with Bark Buster for 2 motives: First I had a sturdy domestic dog that my objective became to help her improve up. 2nd: After interviewing distinctive human beings, i stumbled on different running shoes who have been extra knowledgeable.

Bark busters is fine. I've never used them because I got lucky with my dog and she just never barks (no she is not a besenji, she is a shepherd greyhound mix). The shocking is not cruel because it is not at high voltage, it's low and is inteded to simulate a dog applying biting pressure on your dog, a dominance technique, plus the dogs neck has lots of thick loose skin. Never bribe a dog, because then the dog controlls you instead of you controlling them. Dogs need to be rewarded for performing correct behavior, not persuaded to perform. You need to keep your dog doing what you want when you want not the other way around. GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN!

why would you want your dog to be quiet? one time my dog was barking and barking at 2:00 in the morning and "SHUT UP" was all people could say, well my wife's aunt woke up in the morning went outside for whatever reason and her car was gone. My Lucy barks and barks and barks for no reason, either for attention or she can't get her way. Doesnt bother me at all.

Shocking a dog is stupid. There are so many positive ways to teach an animal something besides punishing him or causing him pain.

its ok, but my opinion, training your dog yourself is better, the dog will mind better, and plus you have your own special techniques.

Try bits of their favourite nibbles, bribe them, we all know it works for your kids, and voice disapproval. When the dog first quietens praise them and bribe.
